Over the years, FJM has broadened its reach across diverse industries, including telecommunications, power transformer manufacturing, automotive, and LED street lighting projects. The company’s relentless pursuit of excellence culminated in a transformative alliance with KVC in 2020, accelerating and enabling FJM’s ambitions to serve as a distributor for Rockwell Automation.

This partnership has significantly bolstered FJM’s confidence, empowering it to attract a diverse clientele spanning sectors such as food and beverage, pharmaceuticals, and fast-moving consumer goods.

In 2011, FJM attained its inaugural ISO certification (9001:2008), a testament to its unwavering commitment to adhering to rigorous Standard Operating Procedures and maintaining exceptional service quality.

In the transformer manufacturing sector, FJM supplies vital components, including medium-voltage modular block distributional panel transformers, high-voltage epoxy bushings, and tap changers, cementing its status as a reliable partner in the industry.

Lim, 56, holds a business degree from Louisiana State University. His other business in Indonesia involves trading telecommunication supplies such as automation, electrical parts, cables, packaging, and adult diaper manufacturing to cater for the local and export markets.

He is the Penang Chinese Merchant Club’s president and Beng Teik’s Primary School board director.

Lim is married to Lifanah Suwarman and has three children. Their daughter, Lim Xin Hui, graduated from Monash University in Melbourne with a double degree in Psychology and Linguistics. Their son, Lim De Hu, pursued a healthcare career and graduated with a Doctor of Physiotherapy from the University of Melbourne. The youngest child, Lim De Long, completed his bachelor’s degree in Accounting at Monash University and later earned a Master of Finance from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology.

Lifanah graduated from Louisiana State University in the US with a bachelor’s degree in Finance and later earned a Master of Business Administration from Southeastern Louisiana University.
